Background

Coastal Constructors is a family owned business dating back to 1946. For over 60 years, Coastal Constructors has grown to meet the changing demands of the construction industry using new and innovative ideas with a commitment to quality and service.

The Challenge

Coastal Constructors needed a solution to track the location of their vehicles up and down the eastern seaboard and also grant limited access to customers to track arriving vehicles. Additionally they needed historic data on a vehicle’s time on a job site for billing purposes.

 

Managing the departure and arrival times at customer’s sites of over a dozen vehicles including pickup trucks, tractor trailers, and even an ocean going barge can be a challenge. Providing timely feedback to customers on the arrival times of each of these vehicles throughout the day can be equally difficult.
